Lewis Bates
Lewis started his career in the mortgage industry in 2015 as a trainee with Blueprint Mortgages, becoming a qualified Mortgage Adviser in 2017. Since then, he has built up a loyal and growing client base, helping people with their mortgage and protection needs across Dereham, Watton, Swaffham and the surrounding Norfolk area.
Lewis lives in Reymerston, close to Shipdham, giving him strong local knowledge of Dereham and the surrounding villages. He regularly helps clients throughout Dereham, Shipdham, Reymerston, Yaxham, Mattishall, Hingham, Watton, Swaffham and across Mid Norfolk. He is based from our Dereham office but is also happy to travel to meet clients face-to-face in their own homes.
Lewis advises on a wide range of mortgages, whether someone is buying their first home, moving house, remortgaging or purchasing an investment property. He has particular experience in Buy-to-Let mortgages, Bridging Finance and New Build mortgages, as well as helping clients whose circumstances may require a more individual approach.
A big part of Lewis’s service is making himself available to his clients and supporting them throughout the whole mortgage process. He understands that arranging a mortgage can sometimes feel complicated, particularly for first-time buyers, and takes the time to explain everything clearly, answer questions and keep his clients updated from their initial enquiry through to completion.
This personal approach has helped Lewis build long-term relationships with his clients, with many returning to him when it is time to remortgage, move home or arrange their next mortgage. Outside of work, Lewis is a former golf professional and still has a keen interest in the sport. He regularly supports charity fundraising and has recently become a father, so family life now keeps him busy when he isn’t helping his mortgage clients.
